We are Louis Enzo and Mateo Jules, two brothers fueled by a shared passion for fishing, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Growing up in a small Colorado mountain town, our love for the outdoors has been a constant companion. Our journey into the world of fishing began early, with both of us catching our first fish while kayaking on the Colorado River at just four years old.
While fly fishing is special in our hearts, we’ve discovered that hand-line fishing offers a simple yet deep and practical experience. Our adventures have taken us to the farthest corners of the globe, where we've fished alongside agile and creative locals using various hand-lines. These experiences inspired us to design, build, and share our hand-lines with fellow travelers and fishing enthusiasts.
At Pecos, we handcraft every piece of our hand lines using recycled wood sourced from local woodshops and sew each carrying bag.
